My home page on MyWay.com gives me a daily "fortune cookie" message.
This is today's message:
Whoever said life isn't fair was cheating.
There's a part of me that looks at that message and says "yeah, you're right", but then there's a part of me that knows that the person saying that either was cheating or was cheated on.
My guess is the latter. What do you think? Post your replies here.

Just wanted to tell you that I've just finished your "9/11 Rant" and I'm actually a little nauseous. The same way I felt as a teen when I read 1984. The hair standing up on the back of my neck. The writing was beautiful, tho I hardly noticed the writing as I became immersed in the story....................it was as tho I were looking in on a parrallel reality. No *wonder* I never "enjoyed" sci-fi. It's not enjoyable, it's terrifying! This was so believable that I completely felt it was/had happened as you describe and I was actually sickeningly frightened, the way you get when you've **just missed** having another car hit you, or having something fall from above & almost hit you on the head, or feel as tho you almost slipped and fell on ice.......................
I'm stunned. I wish I could make this an op-ed piece in MOST big city dailies. I think EVERybody should read it.
Whew.....I have to go get a couple of TUMS. What a story!!!!!
