Prior to the GOP throwing their temper tantrum and forcing a shutdown of the federal government, there were news reports about how things seem to be getting better.
Foreclosures are down, layoffs are down, home prices are starting to go up, and the Federal Reserve continues to toy with the idea that they would end the Wall Street money trough.
And yet, I look around and things really don't look like they're getting better.
So I have to wonder... ARE things really getting better? Or are we just getting better at LYING to ourselves?
You'll hear my thoughts on that, and then I'll want to know what YOU think. Oh, and if you want to talk about the GOP tantrum, you can do that as well.
