The events of last week really messed up what we wanted to talk about on Tax Day.
But they also lead us to a really good discussion subject for this week...
"Rule of Law", or "Rule of Man"?
Think for a minute about the Boston Marathon suspect now in custody. Do we want him tried in a court of law as we normally would under the "Rule of Law"? Or do we want him tortured, forced to confess every dark thought in his mind, and then put him down like a rabid dog, as the rage-fueled "Rule of Man" would demand?
This is something we need to ask ourselves... right here and right now while the emotions are still raw!
"Rule of Law", or "Rule of Man"? Which do we operate under?
And is there really a third option? Some people claim there is. Is there a "Rule of God" that overrides everything? Or is that just another way to force upon us the "Rule of Man"?
