Brutally Honest on ShockNet - 02/13/10 Show Notes

Love and Money. Money can't buy me love... no, but it CAN buy me a really nice time in Nevada. If only I HAD some! And a way to get to Nevada.

Well, first the LOVE part... tomorrow IS Valentine's Day, and Brutally Honest supporters know that I have a few choice WORDS about that day. But if you're new to the show you'll probably find my thoughts about this day to be... well let's just say unique. Someone asked me if I'm a V-Day scrooge... well, to be brutally honest, I AM one, but not your ordinary "bah humbug" variety. You'll just have to tune in to find out...

THEN the MONEY part. Last week I said something rather profound about money and I really explain in detail, and I think that by the end of the show you'll understand just WHERE I STAND on this issue.

That and... a Tea Party leader doesn't FEEL THE LOVE when it comes to Caribou Quitter. Who? How? Why? Find out!

Join me THIS SATURDAY (02/13) right here on ShockNet Radio at 7pm Eastern (6pm Central and 4pm Pacific) over at www.shocknetradio.com and also at Apple's iTunes Radio Player under the "Classic Rock" category!

And don't forget that I will also be in the "Brutally Honest" chatroom at www.shocknetradio.com during the show, so I hope to see you there!

It's Social... It's Political... It's IN-YOUR-FACE... it's BRUTALLY HONEST!

I'll be there but my guard's up. I'm one of those saps who think (St. Valentine aside, the secular holiday it's become) Valentine's Day is a pretty cool holiday. A holiday to celebrate love. Whatever it used to be. I'm glad it's evolved.

Well, that wasn't as bad as I feared. I actually agreed with you! I enjoy Valentine's Day but that's because I don't buy into the hype.

And the same thing goes for Christmas. Putting yourself in hock to buy love is just plain stupid and anyone who loves you wouldn't want you to.
